BATAMALLOO MARTYR

8 YEAR OLD SAMEER
I have heard they killed one more
Beat him up till he was sore

As usual, he was innocent
Though his death is recent

He was a promising child
But Fate drove him wild

As alleged he was a Stone Pelter
Running away from the pangs of Dark Devils helter skelter

His legs couldn’t save him like a deer
For them he proved to be a hare

Beaten, bundled away in dark cart
They cut him away as an unwanted wart

His youthful suppleness, supped away with iron rods
BEATEN TO DEATH BY CRPF

Even his unconscious corpse wasn’t spared from shots

Swung in a marshy land
His identity wasn’t in his hand

Dying an unsung death
None knew of the Black Panther’s wrath

When he was brought home
As usual his personality shone

A martyr’s smile on his face
Attracting every soul from its place

As he was wrapped in a shroud
He had to say goodbye to the road

On the bier, he kept reminding me
Wait in the queue, you will certainly be next to me

As he was lowered in the dark grave
Sikander pondered can innocence ever Save!

  2. Dear Anonymous

In poetical sense some examples r used metaphorically,The example of deer is becoz when he runs from the hunter his horns get stuck in trees & despite his fast pace he becomes prey.

Regarding Hare, he runs fast but to catch him & bundle him away deceptively is very easy, hence i had these things in mind.
